This contract is intended for the exclusive use of the booking of stays in guest rooms.

Article 1 / Property owner liability

We commit to personally welcome guests with all the desirable attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.

Article 2 / Duration of stay

The customer signing this contract concluded for a fixed term will not be able in any circumstances to avail themself of any right to maintenance in the premises.

Article 3 / Booking formalities

The reservation is effective and blocked once the customer has sent the owner an advance payment of 25% of the total amount of the price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room and a copy of the contract containing the conditions and terms of sale signed before the date indicated on the booking contract. The second copy of the contract shall be retained by the customer.

Please note that as long as the deposit is not paid the reservation will not be confirmed therefore we reserve the right to rent the rooms to another costumer. Prices include all service charges. Hosts cannot benefit from the cooling-off period in accordance with Article L121-2~4 of the Consumer Code.

Article 4 – Cancellation of the stay by the customer

Any modification is possible with a written agreement from Le Domaine du Chat Perché which can lead to additional fees.

We inform you of this in case of the cancellation of the reservation before the beginning of the stay. It will be due as a penal clause by the customer as a fixed indemnity as follows:

  • If the cancellation occurs 15 days before the arrival date the deposit will be fully refunded.
  • If the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the arrival date the deposit will stay acquired by Le Domaine du Chat Perché.

In case of a shortened stay the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation remains entirely required by the owner. We would like to point out that no cancellation insurance is included in our prices.

Article 5 / Cancellation of the stay by the owner

If before the start of the stay the owner has to cancel the reservation he is obliged to immediately inform the customer by registered letter. The customer will then be immediately fully refunded of the sum of money that was already paid.

Article 6 / Arrival and departure times

The customer must arrive on the day specified on the booking confirmation at the earliest 5pm (time when the guest rooms are available) and at the latest 7:30pm. In case the customer arrives after 7pm, he must notify the owner of his late arrival time by phone (+33 (0) 6 87 46 37 13). As far as possible, please make sure not to arrive after 9pm.

The departure must be at the latest 10:30am. Any departure after this specific time could result in the addition of one more night in the guest room(s).

Article 7 / Payment

The balance needs to be paid on the arrival date. Additional services that are not mentioned in this contract and will have to be paid at the end of the stay to the owner.

Article 8 / Changing guest rooms

In the event of force majeure the owner reserves the right to change the guest room initially reserved for the customer with a similar guest room. In this instance the price of the reservation will remain unchanged.

Article 9 – Uses of the rooms and premises

The respect of a certain art of living is required from all guests in order to guarantee the tranquillity of the place and the comfort of all the guests. The customer has to respect the peaceful character of the premises and make use of it in accordance with its intended use. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the rooms and common areas. Ashtrays are at your disposal in the outdoor area.

The customer must return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare systematically – and financially – any degradation for which they may be responsible.

We would like to point out that minors on the property are under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or their legal guardians.

For health reasons, the customer cannot eat in the guest room. There are tables at your disposal in the outdoor area.

Le Domaine du Chat Perché is not liable for any theft, loss and / or damage or injury done to the property / or persons present in the property.

Article 10 / Capacity

This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number the owner is able to refuse additional customers. This refusal cannot in any case be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract on the initiative of the owner so that in case of departure of a number of customers higher than those refused no refund can be envisaged.

Article 11 / Pets

Pets are not allowed. Notwithstanding, small pets can be accepted upon condition and prior written agreement from the cottage owner.

Article 12 / Amendments of the Conditions and Terms of Sale

These terms and conditions of sale are subject to change at any time and without prior notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale shall be considered and acquired immediately upon payment of the deposit.

Article 13 / Information Storage and Freedom Law

In accordance with the Law 78-17 dated 06 January 1978, you are entitled to access and modification of any data that concerns you. We will not share the personal data you have given us to any other company or organisation.
